Samsung's HT-C6930 all-in-one Blu-ray Home Cinema system gets support for 3D, but it also gets a whole lot more.
Alongside 3D Blu-ray, some of the main features include wireless speakers, Internet@TV, DLNA, High Definition sound and an iPod dock.
The 3D capability comes in the shape of Samsung's BD-C6900 3D Blu-ray (available separately) which been getting pretty good reviews as a standard 2D player along with its 3D capabilities. Of course, to enjoy the 3D experience, you will still need the 3D TV and specs.
The HT-C6930 is DLNA compliant meaning that you can hook up the player with your PC via an Ethernet connection (or an optional Wi-fi dongle) to stream various multimedia files; an inconvenience to achieve this however is the requirement to load up 'All-share' proprietary software.
Internet@TV makes an appearance with connectivity to Samsung's web portal. An improved interface offers access to the likes of BBC iPlayer (available shortly), Twitter, the Picasa online photo album site, YouTube.
Elsewhere you get HD audio decoding, an auto calibration system for setting up your speakers, 2 HDMI inputs (for connecting other digital devices such as a games console) and USB with DivX support.
The HT-C6930 packs quite a punch for a reasonable price with first impressions indicate a decent all round performance. If you are looking for Home Cinema out of the box with 3D capability, this is the only choice at the moment, but it already looks like a sound investment for the money.
