At just 8mm deep, Samsung's C9000 is one of the slimmest TVs around; with a host of goodies including 3D capability straight out of the box it now comes as a 40in model.
With a pair of Active 3D glasses included, the C9000 is ready to display glorious extra dimensional images; of course you will need some 3D source material courtesy of a 3D Blu-ray player or Sky 3D (later this year).
To achieve its svelte like appearance, Samsung have shifted some of the control electronics into the stand.
Elsewhere, the 40in, 46in and 55in models come with 200Hz processing, Freeview HD, Edge LED, Wi-fi, Clear Motion Rate 800 and 2D-3D conversion on the fly.
Almost as big a talking point as the TV itself, the TV's remote has to be one of the most seductive controllers ever produced. The unit features a touch screen through which you can browse TV channels while watching a blu-ray on the main screen.
All of this gorgeousness doesn't come cheap however; you won't get much change from seven grand if you plumb for the 55in model!
