Panasonic launch Freesat+ recorders
Freesat+

Adding to their comprehensive line-up of HD enabled audio visual equipment, Panasonic have introduced three  Freesat+ recorders.

The budget DMR-XS350 HDD/DVD recorder is equipped with a 250GB twin satellite tuners and comes complete with Panasonic's Viera Cast internet connectivity.

The DMR-XS350 joins Panasonic's DMR-BS850 and BS750, which add Blu-ray recording to their Freesat functionality. The DMR-BS750 sports a 250GB hard drive while the BS850 gets a 500GB spinner. Along with Viera Cast, all three machines should be able to access BBC iplayer content over a broadband connection (a feature due to be enabled Autumn 2009).

All three recorders from Panasonic being Freesat+ certified, offer a tried and tested EPG (electronic programme guide) to make it easy to set up and manage recording schedules. Features include 'series record' and 'accurate recording' - a feature which monitors the programmes’ actual running time so it doesn’t clip any of the recording should the schedule slip.

The XS350, BS750 and BS850 should hit UK stores around June this year priced at £700, £900 and £1000 respectively.
