Sculpted into what Sharp are describing as a 'Mona Lisa smile' their new DH77 range of LCD TV's come with some hefty 'Green' credentials along with a host of high end features.
The 32in, 42in, 46in and 52in screens feature a dedicated green 'eco' button on the remote control which will enable users to reduce the TV's energy consumption.
The 'eco' button allows viewers to directly reduce the backlighting in two stages by 15 to 20 per cent without having to navigate on screen menus. The DH77 also features Optical Picture Control (OPC) technology, which adjusts the backlight output according to the ambient lighting of the room via a light sensor integrated within the TV's frame.
The DH77 range also feature Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolutions, 100Hz processing along with a response time of just 4 milliseconds. The new screens boast claimed contrast ratios of 50,000:1 (30,000:1 on the 32in), 3 HDMI inputs and a USB port for MP3 and JPEG playback.
