One step up from entry level, Panasonic's new X10 range of Plasma TV's, coming in 37in, 42in and 50in sizes, are available in UK stores now.
Subtle but significant styling changes introduce rounded corners and an oval base to the new screens. The now familiar elliptical protrusion at the base of the screen now integrates with the rest of the screen more comfortably.
Although Panasonic's X10 series feature HD ready panels (37in -1366 x 768, 42/50in - 1,024 x 768) rather than a Full HD configuration, 100Hz double scan technology is present on all three screens.
The X10 series sits just below Panasonic's S10 line which feature Full HD screens and just above the entry level C10 series which do not feature the 100Hz double scan found on the X10 which also has a higher claimed contrast ratio (2,000,000:1).
The X10 range of Panasonic Plasma screens are now available in the UK.
