Virgin Media introduces Sci-fi & Fantasy on demand

Keeping trekkies and terminator fans happy in equal measure, Virgin Media has introduced a Sci-fi & fantasy section to its existing video on demand service.

With around 150 hours of material from Warner TV, FX UK, ContentFilm and Virgin Media TV, consumers will have access to the likes of Babylon 5, Star Trek (season five of The Next Generation, season four of Voyager and season seven of Deep Space Nine) and Terminator, The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

During February, Virgin Media customers will also be able to watch the second and third series of Supernatural, Moonlight and V through the new on demand section.

The Sci-Fi & Fantasy Video On Demand channel will be offered alongside four other TV Choice sections, Drama, Kids, Entertainment/Factual and Comedy. Virgin Media also offers on-demand services for music and film.

The Sci-fi & Fantasy and other VOD sections within Virgin Media are available to those on Virgin's XL package, or those subscribing to TV Choice.
