There are bigger screens out there but none perhaps as accomplished and highly specified as Panasonic's TH-65PZ800.
Large plasma manufacturers have dabbled with 100in+ screens but seem to have settled on the 60-65in range as the optimum size for big screen performance/price. With many units now in the sub £4000 category, a true home cinematic experience is within reach of a large number of consumers.
Panasonic's flagship TH-65PZ800 features an impressive 4 HDMI inputs, a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution along with the latest incarnation the Japanese manufacturer's picture processing technology, V-Real Pro 3. A massive 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio should be taken with a pinch of salt, but with Panasonic's legendary 'Real Black Drive' system on board we are not expecting to be disappointed with performance in terms of black level ability.
Alongside the 65in model, there are also 58in, 50in and 42in options. There are no plans at present to bring the TH-103PZ800 to the UK.
