Available in 42in and 50in sizes, LG's PG6900 plasma screens feature 160GB Hard Disk Recorders. Being Freeview+ certified, and having the ability amongst other things to pause and rewind live TV these panels are fully fledged PVR's (Personal Video Recorders).
The 160GB drives give the new screens the capacity to store around 80 hours of Standard Definition TV, and with two tuners, you can watch one channel and record another. An 8-day EPG (Electronic Programming Guide) works alongside the PVR providing an easy to use recording/playback interface.
With features such as 'series link' (allowing you to record all episodes of a particular series) and accurate start times (which compensates for late start of programmes, the LG PG6900 offers more than just basic PVR functionality.
Elsewhere there is 100Hz for 'blur' free pictures, LG's invisible speaker system (no visible speaker grilles) along with 3 HDMI inputs, a 30,000:1 contrast ratio and LG's 'Clear Voice' system (emphasize human voices and reduces background noise).
