Creative Zen Mozaic
gets tileish
MP3 | Tuesday 16th Sept 2008
Thinner than an iPod Nano and with an impressive feature
list there is a lot more to Creative's Zen Mozaic than a
rather funky looking 'tiled' exterior.
Nine of the 'tiles' on the front of the Mozaic have subtle
markings to indicate they form part of the control
interface. The overall effect may not appeal to everyone but
the Mozaic does offer a stylish alternative to many of the
MP3's currently on the market.
Available in Silver, Black or Pink the Mozaic offers 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB memory formats.
A decent sized 1.8in LCD can play video as well as display
digital still photos. There is an FM tuner, onboard microphone for
voice recording along with integrated speakers.
Other features include an alarm, clock, calendar, PIM
(Personal Information Management) which enables you to sync
contacts, tasks, and calendar info from Outlook to the
device.
Creative have established a fine reputation for good sound quality and value. Early indications are that the Mozaic is set to continue this tradition.
