Creative Zen X-Fi redefines the pocket media player
MP3 | Monday 15th Sept 2008
Packed to the rafters with features, the X-Fi from Creative redefines the pocket media player.
Available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB (with an SD slot for increasing the memory) capacities the two higher spec models offer Wi-Fi which turns the X-Fi into a whole different animal.
Having hooked up to a Wi-Fi network you can send and receive instant messages through Yahoo Instant Messenger or Windows Live Messenger. Just as impressive is the X-Fi's ability to stream music and video from a Windows PC.
The X-Fi comes complete with an FM radio, built-in speaker and integrated microphone (giving the X-Fi Dictaphone capability).
Of course, we shouldn't forget the excellent 2.5in TFT LCD (320 x 240 ) colour screen for viewing MP4 and DivX, WMV9 and XviD. Support for sound formats includes MP3, WMA, WMA and AAC (non-protected) for fans of audiobooks.
