As well as 'Draw the line' styling, Sony's V4500 LCD TV's add a host of extra features over the V4000, but they are currently only being sold exclusively through Sony retail outlets.
Extra features include an upgrade from the standard 'Bravia Engine' picture processing to 'Bravia Engine 2'. The higher specification also gets you Sony's innovative XCrossMediaBar (first seen on the PS3) for more intuitive menu navigation.
Available in 26in, 32in and 37in screen sizes, the V4500 series retains the 1,360 x 768 resolution of the V4000 along with 3 HDMI inputs.
The V4500 LCD TV's also get a USB 2.0 input, Digital Audio Output along with 'Picture Frame' mode and 24p Cinema for DVD or Bluray film playback at the intended 24 fps (frames per second). Contrast ratio on the 26in and 32in models goes up from 30,000:1 to 33,000:1
