'Air remote' is an Apple approved system that allows you to control your TV, Sky box or DVD player. It will be available to download from the iTunes store this July.
The 'air remote' software requires a working wireless network and you will need to connect your network to the equipment you wish control, although this looks like a relatively simple procedure.
The application has been designed to be used directly with a simple TV and music set-up which you can easily programme in yourself. The only drawback is that more complex installations will require a custom install specialist. Air remote are working with manufacturers worldwide to create a database of equipment that can be used within the simple setup procedure.
