Absolutely stunning at just over 6cm deep and available in Chrome Silver and Anthracite, the German electronics manufacturer Loewe is launching its "BluTech Vision" Blu-ray player this October in the UK.
Even though launch date is imminent full details of the new player are a little scant. It will certainly offer Full HD 1080p playback with a resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels and cinema quality 24 fps along with HDMI 1.3, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, 7.1-channel surround sound; but whether it will sport the full Blu-ray 2.0 profile (which allows access to all features on disc) is not clear.
Loewe's BluTech Vision is able to play standard DVD and audio CDs and is fully compatible with Loewe's system integration (their take on operating all compatible devices from one remote control).
The BluTech Vision from Loewe will be available this October and is likely to have a price tag of around £700.
