Sharp introduce G Series Aquos LCD TV's
Sharp G Series Aquos

With the imminent launch of its new Aquos G Series range of LCD TV's, Sharp are aiming to steal back some of the thunder gained by the likes of Panasonic, Sony and even LG in recent times.

At the IFA Consumer Electronics trade show in Berlin next week, Sharp will preview a host of new panels headed by the flagship range of LCD's, the HD1 Series, which incorporates Full-HD resolution of 1920 x 1080p and a built-in 160Gb hard drive. The HD1 Series also feature Sharp's proprietary RGB Plus II picture processing technology for advanced colour processing, and will be available in 46in and 52in sizes.

The HD1 series is joined by the XL2 AQUOS series which sports 3 HDMI inputs and 100Hz technology (launched recently on Sharp's RD2E series). Available in 42in, 46in and 52in, the XL2 series also features "true HD" technology designed to remove jerkiness caused by rapid on screen movement.

For the more budget conscious Sharp will offer the X20 AQUOS series which will be available in 42in, 46in and 52in varieties.
