As part of their new DP8 range of LCD TV's, JVC has introduced three new flat panel models. The LT-42DP8, LT-37DP8 and LT-32DP8 feature a range of cutting edge picture processing technologies including JVC's very own 100Hz Clear Motion Drive for exceptionally smooth fast action picture reproduction.
The picture processing heart of the DP8 range comes in the shape of the DynaPix HD engine which employs a 32-bit processor for enhanced picture sharpness and depth along with greatly enhanced colour intensity.
The DP8 is characterized by new W-XGA panels which offer enhanced luminance and contrast levels with advanced backlight management. The backlight technology has been developed specifically to improve black level and greyscaling performance.
Acoustically, the DP8 series offers JVC's advanced MaxxAudio technology along with Twin Oblique Cone Speakers. Two elements of MaxxAudio, MaxxBass and MaxxTreble are designed to widen the frequency band while a parametric equalizer boosts flat audio reproduction. MaxxStereo, a third constituent cleans the audio source for improved acoustic reproduction while MaxxVolume facilitates consistent audio output by reducing spikes.
Available now, the LT-42DP8, LT-37DP8 and LT-32DP8 can be sorced off the internet for around £1100, £900 and £750 respectively.
