Samsung HT-TXQ120 1080p upscaling Home Theatre
Samsung HT-TXQ120

In what Samsung is claiming to be a world’s first, the Korean manufacturer has introduced the HT-TXQ120 home theatre system with unique 1080p upscaling. This innovative new feature is complemented by 5.1 surround, an impressive 1000W of sound through tall boy speakers, USB and HDMI in and out.

Additional features include Samsung's Anynet+ technology which allows you to network your audio visual equipment through a single remote control and in addition to playing DVDs, the HT-TXQ120 also offers Super Audio CD (SACD) and compatibility with a range of disk formats including MP3, WMA, Divx and JPEG.

Not content with breaking new ground technologically, the HT-TXQ120 is also one of the most stylish pieces of kit likely to grace a living room. Glossy black finish with ‘Tall Boy’ speakers will bring admiring glances from friends and neighbours alike.

Joining its bigger brother is the HT-X250R, which keeps the tall boy speakers but sees a power output drop from 1000w down to 600W. For the more budget conscious, the HT-X200R sees the sound system shrink to 2.1 with standard satellite speakers in place of the ‘Tall Boys’. The HT-TXQ120, HT-X250R and HT-X200R are all available now and retailing for around £900, £400, and £350 respectively.
