Don't confuse the Humax PVR-9200T with the old model which has been around for a good two years. This updated piece of kit sports the 'Freeview Playback' sticker which guarantees certain features associated with playback functionality.
Freeview PVR's are nothing new, but being playback-accredited is, with the freeview playback sticker indicating amongst other things the ability to pause live TV and offer automatic buffering to compensate for any change in programme scheduling.
With twin TV tuners, the PVR-9200T also sports a 160GB hard drive which is able to store up to 80 hours of programmes. It also comes with an eight day electronic programming guide (EPG) with one touch recording. Connectivity comes in the shape of a digital audio output and a USB port for hooking up a PC.
The Humax comes as the PVR-9200TB (finished in black) or the PVR-9200TS (finished in silver) and is available now for around £200.
