Not only does it look exceedingly stylish in its gloss black livery, the DHT-FS3 virtual surround sound speaker system from Denon also delivers a cutting edge technological performance.
Ignoring conventional wisdom and not relying on a tried and trusted method of acoustic delivery, the DHT-FS3 employs 'diffraction' rather than 'Reflection' for a more consistent performance. Denon's proprietary 'X-Space' surround technology is used to deliver sound waves which cover a wider area, improving coverage of floor space even with awkwardly shaped rooms.
The cabinet on the DHT-FS3 contains six speakers, all with built-in amplification, and bass is not forgotten with a built-in subwoofer.
But don't feel intimidated with all of this technology. The DHT-FS3 is part of Denon's 'plonk and play' range which means that a small child can quite easily get the unit going.
The Denon DHT-FS3 should arrive on these shores by mid July retailing for around £700.
