The digital tunor also sports a 7-day electronic programming guide for one-button recording.

Performance

Colour reproduction on the LG 32LC2D is superb, with no loss of skin tone credibility which is often a problem on LCDs with vibrant colour.

The LG 32LC2D does a good job when it comes to reproduction of HD sources. Response time induced motion smearing performance is not an issue, but the performance in this area is not quite up with the best.

The main criticism of the LG 32LC2D is the black levels, which tend to bottom out to grey rather to soon with a loss of picture quality. Shadow detailing also comes short of top notch performance with very little subtle greyscaling.

Sound is average, the main problem being treble harshness and a lack of bass.

Again, LG has produced an outstanding value LCD package that performs well in certain areas, but fails to achieve classic status through average performance in others.
